Where Passion Meets Performance
For more than 50 years, Chadwick Cricket Club has been a home for cricket lovers from all walks of life. What began as a small neighbourhood team on Chadwick Street in London has grown into a long-standing community built on passion, sportsmanship, and tradition. Over the decades, we’ve kept our spirit alive through friendships, memories, and a shared dedication to keeping the game of cricket thriving at a local level.
What makes our club truly special is the diverse mix of people who play for us. We’re actors, musicians, designers, carpenters, teachers, tech workers, hospitality staff—you name it. Our players come from different professions, backgrounds, and parts of the city, but on the field, we’re one united team. This variety gives our club a unique character, full of creativity, humour, and an easygoing atmosphere that welcomes everyone—whether you’re an experienced cricketer or someone who’s never held a bat before.
We keep our schedule relaxed and enjoyable, playing 10–14 friendly matches every Sunday throughout the summer. These games are competitive enough to keep things fun yet social enough for new players to feel right at home. For us, cricket isn’t just a sport—it’s a way to connect, unwind, and enjoy time together. If you’re looking for a club where everyone is welcome and the love of the game comes first, Chadwick Cricket Club is the perfect place to join.
Chadwick Cricket Club welcomes players of all levels and backgrounds. We play most of our matches on Sundays across Surrey and Greater London, giving everyone the chance to enjoy competitive and friendly cricket in a variety of locations. Whether you’re an experienced cricketer or just starting out, we’d love to have you join our community and enjoy the camaraderie and fun of cricket.
Join us for a friendly game! We are always looking for players and supporters. Come watch our matches, umpire, or even help us score — everyone is welcome at Chadwick Cricket Club.
